Ein Leben auf See

Heiko, Gill and Stephan are among the few remaining crab fishermen who fight on their cutter "Damkerort" for their livelihood, their families on land and above all for unconditional freedom at sea. But even for them, the nets remain empty more and more often. The work requires hard life decisions. The film portrays the changing emotional worlds of three Büsum crab fishermen.
