On a school trip to the forest, ten-year-old Marlene struggles with her changing body. Ashamed of her already growing breasts, she avoids showering with the other girls and hides her body under large sweatshirts. When the other children in the forest museum make fun of a strange tadpole with hind legs, Marlene identifies with it in a strange way and decides to set it free.
