In a dystopian future, the distant planet Kepler 186f is humanity's last hope. Astronaut Hope is to explore it, but the mission fails - she is the only survivor, stranded far from her dying homeland. She meets the Mistress of Worlds, a divine super-mother who preserves the balance of the universe. But she won't save humanity - she brings the Earth back to the moment of the first cell division to begin a new cycle. Hope becomes the emissary of her planet, imprisoned in cryogenic sleep. She wakes up several times - only to initiate the next Earth reset.
