Shorts – Trinational Film festival of the university of applied Sciences offenburg
April 9 – 13 2024 at FORUM Offenburg
2024 is a special year for the Trinational Film Festival at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences:
25 years of SHORTS, which began in 1999 as a showcase of eight films and has established itself in 2024 as a student film festival with almost 500 film submissions from Switzerland, France and Germany.
This year’s program includes 77 films in the categories: Short, medium-length, animation and documentary films in the respective competitions. Many contemporary issues will be dealt with, focusing on war and antisemitism, emancipation and women’s rights as well as family relationships.
The award ceremony will take place on Friday evening, April 12 at 7 p.m. and prize money of 10,000 will be awarded.
The anniversary of the SHORTS will be celebrated on the evening of April 13 at the Kesselhaus in Offenburg.
